Hi
Just bought 3 #6081 decoders aka C81 second hand, but they have no instructions with them, does anyone per chance know where I can find installation type info?

Well the C81 is for DC motors so I presume you've got your motor setup with a permanent magnet etc.
Other than that its pretty simple - 2 wires for the motor, 2 for lighting, 1 for power and 1 for earth.
If you do not know the pin outs then that makes it a bit more difficult.
I'm sure someone on this board has a C81 equipped loco and can take a photo of the connections for you. |
