Hi everibody,
What do you now, please, about this new item, which is now in the "Aktuel" page in the last number of Märklin Magazin?
How much it costs? I don't find it in the Märklin database and in Italy my reseller don't know anything about it!!
It is only in the Lokshop Internet Page!!

The 29857 was produced in very limited numbers, most likely to get rid of the last 6021 Control Units that were still on the shelves in Goeppingen.
The set is no longer available at the factory, but you may find a dealer who still has one. Expect to pay around Eur 250 - 300. If you happen to need a 6021, it is a fairly good way to go.

The 29857 is, as Charlie says, the way for Marklin to get rid of the old control units. However, I wouldn't think about it as an option. OK the BR 18.4 is nice, but I believe that around 300 euros this is not the best buy possible, given that the new digital sets will be available soon.
I have seen this set at ebay recently and kramm sells it for 298.00 euro. |
