Hi Everyone,

Not sure if this is right forum for subject matter but as it involves
HO ONLY I have posted it here.

I have previously mentioned the high import duties (100%) here in my
beloved Barbados. This is on top of carriage and frieght. I have too
many things in storage in the worst of situations in Hollywood, Fl.
Safely stored for sure but not perhaps in ideal conditions. Is there
a South FL. member who may be able to help? Although in fairly big
boxes, they would break down to maybe a quarter of a closet. I would
expect to make a contribution to electricity and so on.

Cheers,

Jeremy.

Jeremy, I live in Central Fl. We have very similar weather to S. Fl. except for a couple of cool months in the winter.

Most self storage facilities have air conditioned storage units available - in different sizes. You might be able to locate one on-line. There not terribly expensive.

I too live in Florida, but in North Florida. Given that Florida is the place where old people, with a life's worth of accumulated stuff, end up, down size first, and then die, the storage business is VAST. You should not only be able to find a suitable storage provider that is conveniently located and has the environmental requirements you need, but you should also be able to find one at a reasonable cost. You may even be able to find a place that could serve as a US address for deliveries coupled to the storage business.

Good luck, and remember that hurricane season starts June 1!!--MM

Part of my family live in Miami. They might have the place and the conditions that would be suitable for your purposes. If this would be the place you are looking for, please feel free to contact me.

Hi Friends,

Thanks for taking time to reply, it is always appreciated. I was a
bit hesitant to post my request but the replies and Hans' courtesy
is a reminder that while we sometimes squabble this is probably the
most pleasant place on the internet. Thank you Juhan.

Hans, this is most kind of you and I will send you an e-mail.
John I can hardly wait!! (Don't forget my Scrambler)!!!!!!biggrinbiggrin.
