Hey everyone,
I just landed in montreal for a work trip- anyone know where to find marklin here? (preferable used) I'm around until Monday afternoon and should have some time.

John...I think Mike C. lives in Montreal. I don't think there are any shops, but you might be able to get together with him. I am about 4 hours south of you!

The best possible source I can recommend would be contacting Kant Photo on Stanley Street (Downtown). They are a former Maerklin dealer and the current owner still holds her father's inventory in storage.

As I have stated many times, there is no dealer in Montreal at the present, the nearest ones with reasonable stock being in New York or Toronto.

If you are interested in North American trains, check out Udisco on Decarie Blvd. There is also Hobby Junction in Dorval (near the airport), Van Horne Hobby in Laval and a few other shops that stock some North American lines. Marklin.com lists one dealer in Knowlton QC, but I don't know how much stock he maintains.
