Hey everybody,
I was fooling around with my 3422 E94 Crocodile in Blue and cream/tan today. It is one of my favorite locomotives that I've had for 15ish years since new, and I just today realized I have no idea what the proper consist is for the prototype! I know the green E94's are for freight, but what about the blue/cream? Passenger? If so what cars? Any help would be appreciated!

The E94 was predominately a freight locomotive, the E93 was the passenger version.

But as in real life never say never. I don't believe that it would have pulled IC passenger trains, but conceivably it could have pulled regional trains.

The old saying about journalists is "Never let the facts get in the way of a good story" (which is actually a bit scary when you think about it). This can be paraphrased for our hobby as "Never let the prototype get in the way of a good model railway" (which isn't scary at all). If the idea of your E94 pulling a string of passenger cars appeals, then go for it! By the way, I've got a Z scale E94, so I might just go and hook my three "rebuild" passenger cars up to it and give it a run.

Hey Guys! Its currently pulling whatever I feel like running, but I've been looking for an excuse to buy some blue and cream DB passenger cars....

I might have to take the plunge!

Sorry, not a passenger train, but I found a nice pic of a 194 in blue/cream. Usually you find pictures in green, so this is quite rare.
