I have obtained a Viessmann 5215 Poweer Module which I understand will generate DC from the AC input for the decoder circuit which will have both M and V decoders. Does anyone have experience / advice about it's use. My new layout will use a 6021 control unit with 4 keyboard and 1 memory unit. Track power is through two boosters and not directly from 6012 control unit. Is the 5215 a good idea ? My feelings are that the DC will be quieter, are there problems with this approach ?

The 5215 will work only with the Viessmann 5211, they are the equivalent of a k83, but with this extra plug that takes the extra power from the 5215.
It's a "booster" for just the switching action, inside there is a relatively large capacitor that gives power to throw the switch when needed, instead of using the precious digital power.
You need a 6647 transformer to drive it and then distribute to your 5211.

At present I have two 5211 and two 5213 plus six k83 decoders. If it is only for the 5211's I will not install it and save getting another transformer My limit would be 16 decoders but the present plans indicate I will need about 12 or 13. I think I should have digital power from the 6021 as all the track power is from two boosters. Thank you for the help there are very few users of marklin in the houston area and there are no more hoby shops that carry marklin.
