Marklin Collection "Merklingen" to be auctioned?

Hello everyone,

I was on a message board and someone brought up this link to an article about a Marklin collection "Merklingen" which is supposedly going to be auctioned. (If I read my German correctly - I am still learning!) From pictures I have seen, the collection looks incredible.

My questions are:

1. Is this true?
2. When is the auction!!!

Re 1:
The MRR show Merklingen has special exhibitions that will change from time to time.
The current special exhibition is reported to be auctioned (not the complete MRR show Merklingen).

Re 2:
The article says the auction will be held in November.

I am not sure whether the collection is identical with the museum "Modellshow Merklingen", but I have just received the newest invitation brochure from the German auction house Lösch ( www.auktionshaus-loesch.de ).

In this brochure it says that there will be a special Lösch Marklin H0/00 auction on November 8, 2008, and that the items to be auctioned can be previewed at Merklingen until July 13, 2008.

Yesterday I visited the "Modellbahnshow Merklingen" and the H0/00-collection. It was really incredible !
