Anyone know if the Lokprogrammer will work with Windows Vista? On the ESU website it only mentions Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP.
Anyone tried it on Vista yet?
Thanks.

Hi Gautham,

Here's what ESU says about operating under Vista:

• Sichern Sie alle eventuell vorhandenen, selbst erstellten ESU Projektdateien.

Basicly what they say is that ESU Loprogrammer will work with Vista provided you have Lokprogrammer version 2.6.5 or higher.
It's the USB driver that may cause problems, therefore ESU has issued an updated Version 2.6.6 on their website.

You can download this version from their website with the procedure given above.(Sory in German only)
Go to their website and look at FAQs Lokprogrammer.

-Download version 2.6.6
-Burn your downloaded files to a CD.
-Ensure you have saved all your original settings of your Lokprogrammer.
-Deinstall your old software.
-Load your new program from the CD.The setup agent will ask if you want to load a new USB driver.Install the new driver.
-Put the USB adapter in your computer and start the software.

Here's the link to the ESU site's FAQ on Lokprogrammer: http://www.esu.eu/index.php?id=44

Hope this helps a little.
