So funktioniert der Eisenbahnbetrieb Modellbahn-Betriebswerke: Vorbild und Modell Modellbahn-Zugbildung: Vom Vorbild zum Modell Epoche III: Die 50er und 60er-Jahre in der Modellbahn Das große TEE-Buch. 50 Jahre Trans-Europ-Express TEE - Ikone der Luxuszüge Krokodil: Königin der Elektrolokomotiven Dampflokomotiven Am Ende einer Epoche
Can anyone recommend other books that you may have found interesting? Thanks, |
Best regards, Armando García

My bible: Das Große Loktypenbuch. This is just an amazing book. Everything you need to know about every single DR/DB/DB AG locomotive ever made. I also own pocket editions of the books: - Wagen (Reisezug- und Güterwagen der Deutschen Bahn) Every coach and wagon from DB AG - DB-Fahrzeuge (Lokomotiven und Triebwagen) similar to loktypenbuch, but only DB AG Best regards Søren |

I agree, "das grosse Loktypenbuch" is a valuable source for information about locomotives.
I myself buy now and then a book about a specific type, e.g the last one I bought is about the BR 39 (EK Verlag) |

Is there by any chance an English equivalent or translation of "Das Große Loktypenbuch"?

I'm happy with anything by Joef Brandl, a fine master modeller. Unfortuantly all in German. |

'The large locomotive type book' Hi Steven Thanks for the translation, but what I was really asking is whether there is an English edition of that book or a similar book in English. Martin

Nope, well, at least I have not found one. I have been searching for one, but no luck so far. I have been thinking of writing one myself. Best regards Søren |
