A conversion with considerable changes: Before  After Swiss directional light change (3 front - 1 rear), Led's will be exchanged with newer ones, (softwhite-red), Red led will be replaced also. Hoses & Hooks, Roof addition, Brass Whistle, Hand rails, Electrical coupling, 4 Traction tyres, front snow plough, Windows have been inserted.    regards., John |

I like it - if I ever see a basket case RET 800 I'll probably do something similar. Have you considered fitted new pantographs too? I put the latest blackened scissor-type ones on my old 3042 Br.111 to replace the rusting originals and it looks a lot newer as a result, my 3653 Br.120 will get the same treatment one day |

Matt, Yes, I will alter the pantos, I've sold one with the SBB pantos and it looked great. I'm in the process of changing the leds. I'm removing the red top led, (not prototypical), I also will have a markerlight (1 red light and 2 red markerlights) by fitting leds (soft white-red). I had three of Re 4/4. I'm still the proud owner of 2.
