Hello all:Smile

I have recently downloaded the latest upgrade for the CS2 and so far it looks great. However, I was wondering if anyone could help me with a small problem that I have been having(even before the upgrade).

Although the database of .png files is extensive, as we all know, it doesn't cover all of the locomotives that Marklin ever produced.[V]

Currently I am running a Rheihe K (#37055) in green livery, but the closest picture in the database only shows a BR 59 in the standard German black and red scheme. From what I've been told... I can upload a picture of my locomotive in a .png format and add it to the CS2 database. On several occassions I have tried to do this but so far... I have not been able to accomplish this.[:(]

First, I go to the Marklin site, copy the jpeg picture of the Locomotive then I compress it down to 4K and save it as a .png file using Photo shop 5. Then I save this file to a Memory Stick which I plug into the back of the CS2. I go to the Set-up screen of the CS and click on USB stick and then I click on the "update program section". The CS2 (apparently) does it's thing, but when I go to view the locomotive database, there is nothing.[:(!]

Obviously I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what. Could anyone tell me where I'm going wrongconfusedconfusedconfused

Maybe we can all share these files? I have a program that can convert jpg to png. I will list the ones I have converted later. I have installed them into the CS2.

Hi All,

there are several resources in the internet for .png files. I have created a system where it is possible to upload .png files for sharing purposes: http://rasmus.villefrance.org/maerklindigital.htm

I have uploaded my own icons already.

Best regards,

Rsamus.

This thread on Stummi's Forum has truckloads of CS2 .png files, sorted by model number:
