They're great models Tom. Pity my budget won't stretch that far!

I'm very tempted by the E10.12. Maybe later in the year...

Marklin doesn't do many non-German steamers, unless they are variations of German types.

If it takes all of their people to look for some photos on the web and check that the pre-production models match, then I think I can see why they ran out of money...

All you need is Railfaneurope or Bahnbilder. Takes about 5mins to find photos and compare them.

I'd agree Lutz and Tom, those 2 are very nice models. As I got the E10.12 with the Tee Rheinpfeil set last year, I probably won't be buying another one, for now anyway!

no steamers? I thought the 39013 (Br01 150) was a 150th anniversary steamer?

I do hope they make the electric loco (120 159) in black with the 150th markings

Probably because they had all their construction resources working on Swiss loco handrails. biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Actually, I had proposed that they set up a subsidiary specially conceived to deal with such issues on future models.

I even proposed a name, Handrailionbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Those 7 locos are lovely... The only one that I have ordered is the 39741, a good complement to the 39740 from 2008.

What annoyes me is the couplingshaft Märklin uses e.g.37268 (NS 1601).
You can clearly see the downward postiion of the coupling shaft.
This is a real problem of coupling anything to it.
why can't they use a metal couplingshaft which in turn would be stiffer to hold the coupling position horizontal.
Some of the newer loco molds have the adjustable couplingshaft which will extend and retract.

I like the SNCF loco.
