I went through the forums here and figured out how to hook up the Viessmann 5211. Currently I use the M* Control boxes 72710 which I am replacing with 5211s.

My question is this - Do each yellow wire from each turnout motor need to be connected to the respective yellow plug in the 5211 along with the 2 blues? To explain it better, currently, using the 72710, I have the yellow wires from many turnouts that are close together connected to each other and then one long yellow wire going the trafo. Do I need to separate them out and bring individual yellow wires to the 5211 or can I just "short" all the yellow terminals on the 5211 and connect it to my long yellow wire?

Also, I am a little confused in setting the addresses on the 5211 dip switches and how they correlate to the addresses on the CS2. Is there any link that explains it better?

Thanks

Gautham: The Viessmann documentation answers these questions. However, the yellow plugs just need to be grounded to a common yellow, and the dip switches choose a starting address in groups of 4, so that the addresses will be the starting address from the dipswitches (call that N), and N+1, N+2, and N+3 for the four addresses supported in the box.--MM
