We got chatting about these slightly on the "hopes and dreams" thread, so I thought it would be fun to go a little more in-depth.

4998 - 8-bit spinny disco coach (FX)
4999 - Waiter coach (FX)
43868/23490 - Disco coach (MFX/DCC)
43948 - Party coach (DCC+MFX, but 3R only)
44738 - Disco coach (AC, sound not track-powered or controlled)
49951 - Goliath crane tender 3-coach set (FX)
49953 - Goliath crane tender 3-coach set (MFX)
49965 - Railway maintenance coach (MFX)
49981 - Piano coach (FX)
And just for completeness in Z scale 87210 - Silent Disco coach

And now for everyone to correct my notes and to drop in all the ones that I didn't find. :D

As the person who owns four DCC cranes, a 7051 and two Hornby/Lima mechanical cranes - I am obsessed with model train stuff that does actions beyond just "run around christmas tree".

Anyone want to talk more about their experiences of them?

What always drew me to the 44738 Lego Disco car is the ability to download my own music choices Drool Sneaky Woot

The 43898 and 43948 also have a microSD card slot for downloading sounds.

Not dance cars but, you also have the 49965 with workshop sounds and flickering welding lights etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-EePIhmduw
You also have the older 49951 and 49953
They fit nicely together with the Märklin Goliath cranes. eg 49954 or 49952

I don't want to go too far off the "music" side of things; so I wouldn't put simple guards/brake/luggage coaches in here; but I'm counting these for the workshop welding-lights and the fact that they explicitly tie in to the cranes which I'm a sucker for!

As I mentioned in the wishlist thread - I'd love a sound-fitted coach to partner with my silent Roco 46800s and Marklin 46719s.
