Joined: 29/11/2009(UTC) Posts: 968 Location: Mount Barker, South Australia		Just received my usual email from Joe's and the first line had 'Joes Modellbahnlaedle bleibt weiterhin geschlossen', translation 'Joe's model railway store remains closed' Anyone that might be residing close to him or has personal contact on this forum possibly provide some information of what the situation is of Joe's business and in particular if he will ever stock new Märklin items again. Thank you.

Joined: 15/03/2003(UTC) Posts: 9,772 Location: Australia		I have just visited the site. It is up to date with the 2026 New items. The only thing I see is that the store is only open three days a week (Wed, Thursday and Friday) 11am to 17:30 with a nice big 1 hour lunch break from 12:30 to 13:30. In my opinion they are great hours - especially when you consider that the store probably does most of their business online. Hopefully, H0 has some more insight as to what is going on here.

The whole thing with the demise of the old web site gives me a feeling of a falling out between a pair of partners, with one of them setting up a new website here, and the other holding onto the old web address. It will be interesting to see if the Gleiswerk site gets integrated into the new Joes web site you gave above.

A few months ago, this was the header: Quote: Joes Modellbahnlaedle wird überarbeitet Als alternative Ausweichadresse empfehlen wir den Schnäppchenmarkt: bitte hier klicken A few weeks earlier, it stated: Quote: Achtung: Dieser Internetshop Joes-Modellbahnlaedle wird in den nächsten Wochen komplett überarbeitet! Herr Dietz has not yet announced the reopening of the new website in his emails. There is nothing to suggest that a schism has taken place. Regards Mike C
