Hello,

I have several locos that I want to convert from DC analog to AC ( marklin) mfx with full sound.

Can amyone provide the Best kit in terms of performance and also the compoments that will require a such conversion.

Thanks

For the decoders, Loksound 5 on ESU or LaisDCC breakout boards (unless they're models that mSD's have sounds for). Beyond that it will be very loco dependent. What are you converting?

Hi,

I wish to convert one of the Romanians loco EA from DC to AC as they do not make them on AC

I was wondering what investment should I expect for a such conversion.

Thanks

I think given you have several locomotives you want converted that you should learn to do it yourself or that will add up a bit in cost.

Parts wise, you'll want to order your decoders in bulk direct from Germany.

You're asking here essentially for a quote but are you wanting someone local to do it or not? Otherwise you will need to post your locos...
