Hi
I have a question about the C-Track #24360 (360mm straight track).
I bought one today, new from my local model shop. When o got hos I discovered what while the rails are the full length (uninterrupted track), the ballast base is a 24188 and 24177 joined together. It even printed on the pieces at the bottom. Is this hos all 24360 C-track is produced?
It looke a bit weird the ballast is not just one piece, when the rails are. In a bit confused.

Yes, and considering the minuscule price difference the 24360 is kind of a dud.

I bought some and didn't see the need to buy more, so I haven't.

The real benefit is the electrical connection which gives you 360mm without as many connectors creating resistance.

Jim

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.

Even worse. You can easily buy the 24188 and 24177 far cheaper since they come in starter sets so dealers always sell large quantites off cheap.
