Interesting, I have a HAG version in the red livery. I am wondering if this is a one off with Arwico or if they will issue further versions next year using the same mould?

Don't look back, your not heading that way.

Impossible with the same mould. The prototypes 11601 - 11604 were divided into two sub-series (11601 and 11602 with the two split body halves allowing slight vertical movement, 11603 and 11604 with a single "continuous" body similar to the later series 11605 to 11689). But these four units differed very much from 11605 to 11689, so Piko could only issue further versions either by re-constructing the entire project or by allowing a lot of "mistakes" which probably would not be accepted by today's nit-picker modelers.

Interestingly, the four prototypes still exist in various stages of decay (11601 and 11602), 11604 more or less preserved/saved, and 11603 regularly running for the private company Railadventure in a somewhat strange livery.

Well this is the first new tooling to excite me in quite some time!

If I can get one in the USA without 9 layers of tariffs and difficult Swiss retailers who don't want to ship internationally I will certainly buy one, if not both!
