Dear community

I bought most my trains from a German store , it all went well until recently
After placing another order and asking a question via mail they no longer reply
After checking my other orders I had 3 running
The first one was never shipped on October 24
The others still have not been processed
The store is called secondplay
Does anyone live very close to the store to see if they still operate ?
I know this might be asking for much but it’s about a lot of money
I don’t know who else to turn too and I am also not in a good enough condition to travel
Just so very very worried , I am not that wealthy

Hi David,

I'm sorry this is a problem.

From the website (in the Imprint section hyperlinked at the bottom), their location appears to be in Rielasingen-Worblingen, which is about 45-50km from Zurich. Perhaps someone in the Forum near there could help in some way.

The owner's LinkedIn profile says he's a student who just started at a business school in Baden-Württemberg; he could be a remote student, but if he's not then it may be he's figuring out how to run this business and study at the same time. I'm not making excuses for him, but I hope your persistence works out for the best.

Thank you Brian , I can’t express my gratitude enough for the work and the help

I can understand that , and I have to say what I recieved so far
Where 2 perfectly packaged trains outside the box as to make sure neither train or the micarta in the box got damaged
Showing care and attention and understanding to collectors
And the trains where exactly as advertised

Your help has reassured me a lil more that’s it’s going to be alright

There is a difference between "real" stores with big facilities and a staff and smaller, more or less private one-man driven resellers. Both types can be fine to deal with and buy from of course.
If what you have paid for is not delivered, and you don't get any response from the "shop", your only option will be to try and get the transaction annulled by contacting your bank or other kind of financial provider (like PayPal).
