Hi there

So this was a surprise to me, upon putting on the track the locomotive automatically registered in M4 (MFX).
This is a Roco 3 rail locomotive with a Zimo sound decoder, new product.
The decoder is a MS 450 P 22 Zimo decoder, I looked it up on the Zimo site and sure enough they list some MFx support.
The function icons did not load, I'll try it with my mobile station 2 later and see if they load on a Marklin controller.
I wasn't aware that ZIMO decoders now have M4 support.

It makes sense for Zimo to make the decoder M4 compatible as ESU did too. I have a Marklin CS 3 and my Jaegendorfer ski lift has ESU mfx M4 sound decoder. It automatically registered and all functions are there. The Ecos may be different though?

They support MFX with the newer MS decoder, but you are not allowed to configure icons in their configurate application.
