Its nice, but;
I get it with the kids and the grandparents (why do the grandfather look so much younger than his wife???), but; Where are the kids parents?
-And what was up with the boy making monster-noises while wearing the reindeer-antlers? I thought; Here comes a reference to the noises of a steam-loco! Yet, nothing came of it... (Or did I miss something in the dialogue?)

I also want to point out that the version of the Silberlinge used for marriage-proposal did not exist the year the grandfather proposed to his wife. The video clearly shows the modern 28,2cm version. They should probably have sourced a 24 or 27cm version for this! Tsk, tsk...
Luckily, WE are not the target audience of this commercial.


The film is ok, although far from the 2018 masterpiece. Still, better than the one where they almost burned down the tree and the house...

Whisper Mode On While they seem to have done a "bit" of weathering to indicate years having passed, I wonder about the survival rate of the more current plastic body of a drop onto tile floors vs. tin plate... Whisper Mode Off

The 2018 video is still my favourite.

I'm also slightly surprised they did not include the 29124 Christmas Starter Set in this year's campaign?
