I have been able to get my hands on a 0232 trackplan set which I had wanted to use to help me design my layout. But when it arrived I also found that having created your layout in miniature it has holes drilled to hold 3mm LEDs so the whole miniaturised layout can then act as an active map of your layout indicating via the LEDs what state turnouts are at as well as isolating sections of track etc. Given all the different voltages required for driving the electric turnouts 16VAC - rectified to be 22.4DC the LEDs operating at 5V DC and the track acting at 10v DC without getting buried in Bridge Rectifiers; Resistors; Transistors; Capacitors and circuit boards has anyone else had a go and found a sensible way of doing this with the 72720 or 72710 control boxes with feedback LEDs as well?

I feel like I might be re-inventing the wheel here..... Any help gratefully received? N
