Hi gang,

I don't like to work with the CS3 60226.

I regret my cs2 60215.

A dream : find a 60215 or maybe make an exchange 60226 for 60215

I frequently see 60215's up for sale on Catawiki. The problem if you buy one or trade for one is how long will it last? Better to become accustomed to the 60226. I use both of them when I operate our club layout and much prefer the 60226. But my first controller after a MS was the 60226. Can't teach an old dog new tricks?

Hi
@the wolf
I have both a 60215 and a 60226 so I can compare.
The only 60215 advantages are the adjustable rear feet and the stylus type screen.
The CS3 processing power is way bigger, its screen definition is way more precise and you may want to use the benefits of a deported screen with a PC in-between
The CS3 allows you to use any smart phone (iPhone in my case) to have a wireless remote
Also you may want to use a mouse when defining a new layout screen (it is almost indispensable and cost almost nothing (4€ in my case)
Initially I has two 60215 but one of them does not boot-up correctly and the other one has no programming track output anymore.
Of course none are repairable and this is the reason why I bought the CS3
Using Rocrail I am not using the CS3 screen so much
Here it is during a delicate editing work you cannot possibly do w/o a mouse / pointing device

Cheers
Jean

Both are good but the CS3 is better. As said above a CS2 may not last long and with the CS3 you will have a warranty. Why cant you work with a CS3.
Take care I like Marklin and will defend the worlds greatest model rail manufacturer.

Hi David,

I am not good with touch screens but I think I will buy a high-precision stylus for the said screen.

Hi Jean,

Since I don't do TCO on the CS3 screen (as you know I use Itrain), I'm going to buy a stylus to avoid using my finger on the touch screen (I hate that and I'm not skilled at it).

Have a noce day

I too use a mouse with my CS3. Except for operating switches where a finger works much better. Try a mouse first before the stylus. If you have one for any other computer and it has a USB connection it will work with the CS3. Just make certain you plug it into the correct USB female in the back of the CS3.
