Just wondering if any forum members are running windigipet newly 2025 release. I am particularly interested in the Philips Hue support in the latest release , as I have installed 40 Philips Hues lights in my train room. I always wanted to create the Day night scenes on my layout , but as yet haven’t implemented this feature. Interested in any feedback that some members may have experienced with this particular release.

It has only just been released. I will order my upgrade next month and it will take a couple of weeks to get here.

I also have Phillips Hue, but not on a layout. It would be pretty trivial for it to be implemented over WiFi from within WinDigiPet.

Be aware that the English Manual will not be available for another year or so. That said, if you are a long term user of WinDigiPet it is pretty intuitive to use any new features.

I am a windigipet user from 2015, So understand the english manual is always a good year or two behind…having said that, the english manual requires a lots of imagination, as examples and explanations don’t always correlate to the text. But with a good deal of trial and error you get there in the end.
My order was processed Friday and hopefully get mine in a couple of weeks as well. It never ceases to amaze me what features there are with model railway software, just when I thought I have everything then a new version comes out and I suddenly want it all , I think it could cook my toast if I wanted it to! Either that all I just blinded by my obsession.!

I have had it since version 8 and with the old Intellibox. Recently, I have been tinkering with Rocrail using a very simple temporary layout, while it has improved immensely since I last tried it, I still find it unintuitive and clumsy running on Linux - and only slightly better under windows. So, I will most definitely be upgrading to WinDigiPet2025 as soon as my shed is built in a couple of months.

The support forum for WinDigiPet is terrific and often you can get some supplementary stuff to explain how the new features work. There are some new videos on YouTube and they are translating to English to a reasonable standard (but not the video content - sadly)
