Maerklin 321 with detachable Rungen. There is obviously more than one variant.

In the above version, there is a screw, and the wheel bearings are different. Even lettering is different. Nothing is mentioned in Lokmuseum.
They were produced in 1950` and precise dating of the shown variants is appreciated by those more familiar with the variants than I am.
Thanks

The most reliable source for noting differences is a Kolls Catalog.

Koll's says the 321.3 (1952-1955) is the only version with brake shoes so the image of the one with brake shoes looks like a 321.3.

The only differences between the 321.1 (1947-1949) and .2 (1950-1951) are 1) the .2 brake house is without "brake spindle" and 2) the .1 uses the Type 4.2 couplers while the .2 uses the Type 5. Your image of the one without brake shoes looks like it has Type 5 couplers so it could be a 321.2. I'm unsure of what the "brake spindle" is in the brakeman's house. In Kolls' in Deutsch, "Bremserhaus ohne Bremsspindel"

And this is if Koll's is 100% correct...

I hope this helps,
Brian
