Joined: 08/01/2024(UTC) Posts: 16 Location: California, Pomona		Hello, I recently purchased a close to mint in the box Marklin 55281 steam locomotive. I am wanting to upgrade it to digital sound and would also like to also add dynamic smoke (from the stack). Wondering from the experts what digital decoder you would go with and what smoke. I have the Marklin mobile station 2 for control and it is new to me as I come from the digitrax world (HO scale) so I am also wondering about what brand works best with it. Thank you for your advice, Todd

This one is for track power, the last one I did was a marklin/airwire battery.... Maybe not, lol, I am getting older... Also, I am looking at the box right now and it is 55281 it is a German 2-8-0 with a 3 axle tender in black and red. I will check out your link, thanks for the help
