Hi Guys,
I’m trying to find details on the parts fitted to the Lima ew1 (309528k) or similar.
In particular, the part number for the close coupler mechanism, and the steps.
Cheers…
Mike

The most recent production of these models was by Rivarossi under the numbers 3725-3728 (SOB/BLS Goldenpass) around 2002-2003. After that, the molds reportedly went missing. Hag, which had been buying coach body shells from Lima had to manufacture it's own shells for models once the supply in stock ran out.
I don't know whether you can find the coupling shaft (Kupplungsdeichsel) as a spare part. You may be able to replace the original Lima undercarriage with the Hag one (if they are still available). The Hag models had a different design for the entry steps.
I have occasionally seen what is described as a bag of Lima steps on eBay. Some show legit images. Others may be Liliput steps being sold as Lima ones. Let me see what, if anything, I may have in my parts boxes. I definitely have a few of the coupler mounts which clip into the other side of the bogies (no close coupling)

Thanks Mike. I’ve emailed Lima/Hornby asking the question but I doubt I’ll have success there.
I’ve just done an experiment and found the hag close coupler mechanism fits on the Lima wagen. So I’ll cast my net a bit wider for parts.
Cheers….

There was a dealer here in Montreal who had one or two Lima items sitting on his shelves. I don't remember which models they were. If you want, I can ask if he still has them in stock. The price the last time I saw them was around $25 CAD. If he has them in stock, I can make sure all parts are present and we can work out shipping and everything. No promises though. I still have those Roco parts for you.

Hi Mike,
That would be interesting to know what models they have. Plus the cost of shipping??
Cheers…
