anyone run LGB here? trying to find an answer to my question below....

recently acquired a new LGB 28006 Ruub locomotive (pictured below), it comes with MFX decoder and many functions, but to my surprise it doesn't include energy storage capacitor bank. it constantly gets stuck on the turnouts. Has anyone opened this to see if the LGB 55429 capacitor back can be hooked up to the main board ? is there room inside for it ? I searched online and did not find anything on this....it's a relatively delicate locomotive and don't want to open it up and be disappointed. I usually add a capacitor bank to the cheaper loc's and that does the trick, was expecting this one to have one for the price $$$.
