The gates only open about 1/3. Running on ac 16v analog. Anyone have experience with these? Thank you. Holger

I don't see why your gates only open 1/3. Sometimes, the coil might stick if it has not been used for a while. There's also a little (tiny) set screw that you can turn to adjust movement. Try to see (on a workbench) if by applying 16VAC you can get full movement. When I first installed them (many years ago), they worked well but were closing and raising too fast for my liking -- very unrealistic. I have since implemented stepper motors to control their movement. The stepper motors are controlled with an Arduino. Here are a few pictures and a short video. I cannot find any adjustments so they must have changed over the years. I tried old faithful and a few drops of oil on the pivot points got one of them working perfectly. The other still hangs up. It moves freely by hand so I suspect the motor. Thanks for the advice. Holger
