I recently bought a railroad crossing (second hand) but don't know if this little piece of metal is supposed to be connected on the contact rail and railroad crossing piece. If it is, how would I be able to connect it? Any answer's to either of my questions would be greatly appreciated

Is it a Marklin crossing? A photo will help.

I fixed the second lot of links, but I suspect that they need to be set on the remote site as publicly viewable. The first set of links are seriously broken and should be uploaded again using the "Manage/upload my pictures" button on the https://www.marklin-users.net/Home/Member link. |

I dont have a Manage or upload my pictures button here, only My profile, Add links to other sites of interest and View my statistics (that doesn't work)

What is the item number on it? If this is a C track section does it conduct power to the connecting tracks? If so, it's ok. If not, then it may have been cut to make a contact track section for feedback use. It's the ground rail side of the track.

Can you post zoomed in photos with a smaller red circle so that it does not obstruct as much of the image so close to the area you want us to pay attention to?
Thanks

The item number of the contract track is 24995 and that of the railroad crossing is 74920. My trains do drive over it perfectly fine if that's what you're asking

From reading the documentation here, it looks like the tab under the track should be cut. Osoraku
