Signals are home signals/Hauptsignal with warning signal/Vorsignal
Product numbers are Maerklin 76496 and 76497.
We want to link the 2 together manually because we have already hardwired them into the layout so no real possibility of read Mfx.
So how do we do it manually (address and CVs). Thanks in advance.

Have you tried programming the signals CV 46 and 55 according to the manual on:

Hi Nick
One simple way (not the only one) is
- to disable on both signal the MFX protocol proceeding one signal at a time on the programming track
- to program both in DCC with the same address of your choice. Podssibly using the DIP switches
- when finish programming and testing reconnect your signals with the rest of the layout

That way they will work in parallel as yoiu wish

How to program them without changing all the wiring?
- disconnect for a while the digital wire from your layout and feed the two signal directly with the digital signal (the rest of the layout being OFF
- program the usual way your signals using the programming track and the signal documentation

Cheers
Jean
