For members who are not in to Marklin Z sorry as I will refer to Marklin Z parts.

I have been trying to get my head round an automated Wye Junction using the parts that I have on hand including a V.H.L.R. (A non latching double pole relay). This is for a newly acquired shorty and flextrack Peco making Radius
45mm curves.

Train pushes trucks A towards H trips circuit track F . F is connected to the 8945 on off . J is connected to 5 and 7 and power is from the controller on 4 and 6 power and turns the switch off thus no power to section K from the track controller. At the same time the 8945 connects the grey wire to the VHLR giving it power and reversing the train (The grey wire is from the controller and the yellow wire is connected to the controller) The train reverses to section K where it trips the circuit track G. This trips the 8945 turning off the VHLR and turning on the power to J. The train has got over the short area. Power is in all section in the correct direction even if a train does not turn around and can go from A to M.

Will it work? The reason I am looking at is the possible short at P

Thanks it's made me re think, I've got the wring to the VHLR the wrong way, it should be connected to NO and not to NC, the 8929's are at F and G
F will operate immediately and throw the VHLR, reversing the train immediately without going over it. I was concerned about when the 8929 at G trips as the train passes over it , turning off the VHLR and turning on the controller power.
Still thing it, might have to set it up and get the circuit tester on it
