Hello, Working on restoring/updating a Marklin 3165 and was wondering if I can update the couplers and coupler pockets? Not sure how to go about finding something that would work so figured I'd reach out here. I attached the exploded view for your guide. Thanks for looking. I wonder if Märklin part 7205 will work. It's the one on the far right. I have some of these, my dealer sold me individual pieces instead of buying the multipack. The distance from the centre of the screw hole to the end of the coupler (not the hoop or horns, that is along the midline) is 19mm. You could trim off the centering feelers if required. Hope this helps, Harold.
