Is there something off about this model (SBB Ae 610)?

don't you just hate that. You think your eyes are playing tricks... then you see it and you can not UNsee it... And what is really bizarre to me is that all of the older MäTrix Ae 6/6 have the bogie leaf-spring/sidebars correctly oriented... Perhaps this will fall under the "wait until they arrive at the shop" and see if the picture in the brochure was just wrong - although there is no indication that the image has been retouched. The Ae6/6 was one of the two items I was planning to buy. Won't unless they fix it. I like the old time Swiss freight set to go with my croc. Already have the Swiss Express lok by HAG so I'll pass on that. |

So, as 39366 does not have its "Downloads" link for Spare Parts (Ersatzteile-Liste) set up yet, I went to 37362 which is similar Ae 6/6 - see link below. The part number 41 "Blattfeder" - Leaf Spring - appears to be a separate part number. Whether it is truly "replaceable" is another matter. I also would not think it was a part that could be put together incorrectly and actually fit... I can hear it now: " Hey Jimmy! Hurry and put this thing together so we can take a picture!" https://www.maerklin.de/service/...lnummer=37362&lang=1 |

I have never tried to disassemble the bogie on any of my Ae 6/6. I guess it is possible to invert the part if the two pins are symmetrical and I guess that that is exactly what happened.
Pretty sure that this can be corrected long before the model hits the store shelves
Regards
