I have some digital locomotives that I'd like to have converted - I don't think I can do it myself, looking at the internet, it looks difficult

Thank you

You have a very well respected Marklin repair person fairly near to you that many here would recommend.

http://www.helmutshobbies.com/ I think I read that he is no longer selling Marklin but that Helmut is still repairing/upgrading them.
Regards,
Jim

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.

I second this. I know Scott, a great guy who does excellent work. I have one of his converted loks and the wiring is neat and precise. He also does warranty repairs.

BTW, there is a European train group in the DC area. Search for EuroRailFans on group.io

Thanks Gopal,

I convert/upgrade my own loks, but whenever I get around to upgrading my 37990 Big Boy I think I will have Scott do it. It is a complex machine and I want to bring it into the modern digital age without losing any of its beautiful construction. It is good to hear another recommendation for Scott's work and reminds me to move forward on that project soon. ThumpUp
