Interesting. Well, I guess the hopper wagon will go with the loco which appears to have been pushed back to January or February.

In an email received from a dealer i also had notification that the new items will be announced on January 7th. Now I'm not sure if this is just the dealers road show or if the NI brochure will be available then.

Here is the link to the new Museum wagons for all product ranges.

Might have to get about three each of the H0 ones to go with the about to be released loco.

Museum wagons are expensive in ebay.

It is a pitty because the 2025 looks very good!

You can preorder them from Matschke if you don't want a trip to Germany, or try ordering them direct from the Marklin Store.

I’ve got the Museumswagens going back to ‘87, so I can’t interrupt the collection now! 🤣 That SWE Railcar is definitely a must have… and I have no idea what the price will be.

I have the "CCS 700" and I really like it. I also would like to have a TWE 700, but there is a difference between both, that is the CCS 700 was never in production, while the TWE 700 was.

It is not the samething to have a replica of something that was only a lab pre-production sample or to have a replica of something that existed.

The TWE 700 that were produced at the time are hard to find, are usually not in good condition and are very expensive, so it may make some sense to have a replica...

About the price we can think in the 399 euros of the CCS 700 as a reference.

In the begining of CCS 700 sales it seemed there were not many samples for sale, but few time after, the opposite was found. It is still available for sale. It means the CCS 700 is not increasing value and so we can expect the same will happen for the TWE 700. It will be nic just to have something looks like what existed long ago.

I prefer originals over replicas, but in some cases, the cost involved in digitizing an original isn’t worth it as it may impact the overall value of the lok. Then again, having a replica to operate while giving an original a well deserved retirement isn’t a bad thing either.

where does one find information or images about the (new) TWE700? Admittedly not for me, but I'm curious what it looks like

Marklin is not the only one announcing 2025 releases.

This Christmas loco will be available in 2025, in N gauge from Hobbytrain, and H0 and TT from Piko according to this Stummis posting. They seem to have taken some liberties though, zebras pulling santas sleigh ??? Blink Blink Blink

I think the screws are to push the brushes to rigght position, but other members of the forum can give a more precise answer.

Greetings,

Will this be produced in China like the TWE 700 replica?
Thank you!
