Hi
Is it possible to extract sound from one to use in another?
I have the usb programner and 60985 sound decoder with steam sounds on it.
The loco is br 50.
I have installed it and everything works.
There are at least 2 different sound projects for this loco on servers.
I would like to pull the christmas carrols from one, put them in the other and then ipload everything to decoder.
When i looked in the pc software at both br 50 projects under sound section it lists the sound file location structure that doesn't exist in the msound files on the left.
Thanks

Yes, it's possible.
Take a decoder project and open it using a compression tool/ "Zip" tool, eg: 7zip or something similar. (www.7-zip.org)
Then copy the sounds you want to this folder: ***\Maerklin\Soundbibliothek\eigeneBibliothek and then they will be available in mdecodertool under "eigeneBibliothek" after a restart of the program. Note: recommend that you use a similar folder structure to the subfolders found in the mBibliothek folder

You cannot download the sounds from a decoder, but as you have the Marklin decoder programmer you will find that it will download all the sound projects from the Marklin web site, and you can retrieve the sound file from there. The file names are the item catalogue numbers, so finding the correct file is easy.
