Create a MU by
- selecting "Create a MU set",
- give it a name (here M.U. 1)
- slide locos into the rectangle


Change the direction of a locomotive to make it fit with the rest of the MU
- edit the loco. and go to the configuration TAB
- select the MOTOR and go to CV 29.0 (direction change) and select / deselect it
- confirm


Delete MU sets
- go to the loco list and select the MU set
- in edit mode you may delete it


Notes
- there is no editing of a created MU set but rather you delete it and create a modified MU set
- the key thing is to adjust speeds, braking delay, acceleration delay so that there is no stress on the couplings
- a MU set is mostly available for manual control. In automatic mode with insulated track sections, you run the risk the first loco is stopped -no power and the second keeps on pushing (risk of burning the motor & decoder. To avoid this ALWAYS AVOID USING SLOW SPEED for routes (BOTH locos must reach the insulated section)
- using a MU set with Rocrail brings you to a totally different level: you may add / remove locos in the MU on the fly and by program AND, because there are no INSULATED track sections there is NO RISK to burn any loco stopping in front of a signal

One possibility is to swap the motor connections on one (intermediate better) loco
Swap the lights / disconnect the front light of the loco behind
This is a cheap solution while the best one is to use mLD3 - mSD3 decoders (change to DC motors is mandatory) or to use "all-current" decodeur (60906) a bit cheaper but performance is low (no load regulation
