Hello,
I have a number of HAG Passenger Coaches both 2 and 3 rail types.
Did HAG make their own wheel sets or did they use Marklin ones?
I did convert a few of my three rail ones to two rail using Marklin E700280 types. Even the bogie (truck) frames look like Marklin. They are really easy to swap as I was able to remove one side frame on each bogie rather then trying to pry them out.
Thanks in advance,
Peter B. in Sunny Florida. |

The answer depends on which models we are talking about: - "Old generation" passenger cars with production years from approx. 1958 to 1986, catalogue numbers such as 400, 405, 410, 415, 420, 430, 440 etc.: own production, picture see here: https://www.amiba-shop.c...-75/Hag-H0-PW-Radsatz-AC- "New generation" passenger cars with production years beginning in the early 1990's: wheel sets most probably bought from others like Lima, Roco, etc. - "Old generation" two-axle freight vans with "Blech" chassis and "Zinkdruckguss" bodies: wheel sets partially bought from Märklin, others maybe own production

HAG sells AC and DC wheels for all passenger and freight cars, as spares, at least for all the cars produced since the early 1980s. You can order them through any of the HAG dealers Originally Posted by: mb300e4m Hello,
