I noticed something unusual while watching the Youtube feed from Zurich Station (David Gubler) on YouTube while working on music files.


This morning, the NJ from Berlin/Prague arrives at Zurich HB at 9:42 pulled by a Re 460. (NJ, OBB and SBB)

At 9:52, the NJ from Graz/Zagreb arrives pulled by a MU of 2 Re 4/4II. (NJ and HZ)

This is followed by what appears to be the NJ from Hamburg (NJ 471) pulls in to Zurich HB at 10:03 hauled by a red Re 460. (DBAG, NJ and OBB)

It departs the station, presumably heading to the storage yards at 10:42, pulled by a Re 4/4II in Swiss Express colors.

At 11:34, an identical looking consist pulls into the station with a Re 4/4II in Swiss Express colors. (NJ, OBB, DB)

Was this the NJ from Hamburg returning (inverted direction) to the platforms or some unscheduled consist?

The EN/NJ from Prag/Budapest/Vienna (CD, MAV, NJ, SBB) finally makes an appearance at 12:03

I could not find a mention of a second consist with NJ and DB coaches in any arrival schedule for today. The unknown train departed the station at 12:07 behind a red Re4/4II
