Good point!
Märklin had never created swedish passanger wagons in 282 mm or even better 303mm.

But they suffer with unsold locomotives, in stock on all Nordic items...

Its not so grate with modern Rc5/6 when the coaches is "invented" item and they newer pulled freight wagons Mellow

Give us the real one of 60s wagons in the correct scale 1:87 because we are not Kinder anymore Sneaky

This will be a really expensive autumn!!!

2 new ES44AC and 2 new hopper car sets (one from Trix). I´m still waiting om the 38445 which is planned to be delievered in december. I´ve just pre-ordered the new surprise loco. I just got the Northlander in my hands.

Laugh LOL

I'll pass the Scotsman this year. I have the first edition and I like the colours much better on that one.

The wartime black Scotsman is very nice, but what intrigues me even more is the BR coaches we can see in the background:

I look at coaches window and found notice the brass screw in the interior? Well it is Margate make Triang to Hornby Mk1 coaches.

The screw is for the roofs.

Interesting that they have released a new smoke oil. ref 02422 and 02423
https://static.maerklin.de/damcontent/5e/de/5edec83543d53512d224df0137b48cfc1724162417.jpg
Perhaps better suited to the new type dynamic smoke generator ?
at least it will help to have only one type available, and not different products in the small and large bottles.
Hope the new bottle is evaporation safe.

so what's the difference?
It seems like they have "removed" the mineral oil component from the old smoke oil, and the new one "only" has 100% Isoparaffin (Hydrocarbons, C11-C13, isoalkanes, <2% aromatics) ref safety data sheets.
There might be other differences as well....?

So it seems like it's quite similar to the Novadur Steam & Clean Reinigungsdestillat: https://www.hygi.de/steam-clean-dampfdestillat-250-ml-flasche-pd-43941?utctx=9e6903c9-5c5c-4460-968a-f9b4322e0dc6 is it a coperation ? (Märklin has previously used the Novadur cleaning product in at least one YouTube video)

I am happy to see that Maerklin is going to release a model of the new Reichmuth/LokRoll/Northrail/SBB Cargo Vectron for inland operation. These locomotives will be replacing Re 420 and Re 620 locomotives in domestic operations. The locomotives will also be capable of operating in Austria and Germany, although I do not know whether they will see use there. I am waiting to see some photos of the prototype in actual operation. The last photos I saw were of the convoy waiting for customs clearance at Basel Bad. Bf.

I am still looking forward to seeing the new Suedleasing X-Load Vectrons for SBB Cargo International. I wonder who will be first with a model of that series.

Another interesting Swiss model would be the Stadler Euro locomotives for RailCare/Coop.

I did not see the weathered version of the Ae 3/6 I (39362) in the Fall New Releases, so that must be a special edition for the Swiss market.

Regards

Unfortunately, I don't think we will see Stadler locomotives from Märklin, as it seems like Sudexpress has an exclusive agreement with Stadler. Unless of course, Märklin starts to cooperate with Sudexpress on some models.

I fear you might be right. They could just be a set of the old Harry Potter set Märklin did some time ago, which of course was just a modified Hornby set.

I recently
put my Flying Scotsman
up for sale and took it off again after I took it out the box again and couldn’t sell it. It is far too nice.
As for the future purchases for me and products for Marklin, It maybe a shot in the dark for Marklin to produce British HO and I might feel to them that it is a risk. But I think it does have a future product range in British HO unlike Hornby attempts at TT.
If I were a product manager, my choice as most peaple would be, would be a set of coaches, but what else?
A4 Mallard or another A3 or even a British livery class 66 diesel as the U.K. was the first to have these machines. Or should as with Hornby TT head higher such as an HST 125 set?
Thoughts?

I believe that Märklin would be best to try something completely different in HO for the UK and Commonwealth markets.
By Commonwealth I mean Australia, Canada, and New Zealand where a lot of expatriate British do live.
South Africa and India to a far lesser degree.
And the US market has many UK prototype fans.

Try perhaps an LNER A4 with the streamlined Silver Jubilee.
This year is the 90th anniversary of the first run.
Hornby in OO recently released the similar set in the Coronation livery.
Apparently quite stunning and expensive.
But we are quite used to expensive items from Märklin.

Kimball

HO Scale - Märklin (ep II-III and VI, C Track, digital) - 2 rail HO (Queensland Australia, UK, USA) - 3 rail OO (English Hornby Dublo) - old clockwork O gauge - Live Steam 90mm (3.1/2 inch) gauge.

I take it you are talking about the Coronation coach set. Not only is it expensive, it is also very sold out.

Sams Trains did a review of the tail end coach for that train, and it does have some features that should make Marklin sit up and look.

Ummm yep it’s going to be expensive but then again it’s going to be for a small Market. To be truthful I would really think about buying one coach set, as I’m really limited to a budget these days. And a coach set would blow it. Having said that the Flying Scotsman would have more of a buyers Market if a coach set was going to happen. And I might just move the A3 along if I couldn’t stretch to a set of coaches for it. And invest into some more Belgium engines 🤣
