Hello,
I've been working on my Dad's layout and installing the 70412/70413 semaphore hauptsignals.

I've had very bad luck in that they don't seem to work properly out of the box(Hit and miss)
I can't imagine that they haven't been tested to work properly as it seems as they've been calibrated

Is there a way that I can reset them to possibly get them working properly through the CS3?

If there is, I need the procedure.

Thanks.

Those are not mfx signals, so the CS 3 won't automatically recognize them. You either have to manually register them as accessories and enter their decoder address like a non mfx locomotive or. Use an M83 accessory decoder to operate them.

Hi Michael
Here is the users manual
https://static.maerklin....32c50b16151591097789.pdf
Look at page 8 for setting with a CS3
The signal is only capable of MM2 and DCC (using CVs)
The address is set using the switches as per the manual
The address is the FIRST one. The second used address is consecutive (the address you selected +1)
The manual indicates the factory setting. There is no CV to reset the signal indicated in the manual. Usually reset is CV8=8 but here I am not sure it is working.
Cheers
Jean
