Hello,
There are really nice old Trix wagons but the problem is compatibility with Marklin M tracks and couplers.
Trix couplers are a few millimeters higher, and besides, the wheels are not the same axle length. According to experience of members of another forum, wheels run fine on straight tracks but derail on switches.
I would like to hear the experience of members in this forum in regard of possibility to change couplers and wheels on old Trix wagons.
Also, what period was this box used ?
Thanks for your time and expertise.

Yes, I have one. Yellow plastic box with clear lid. Mannesmann ag pivoting steel ladle car. The coupler pocket is metal and a Marklin or Roco nem coupler fits, but is loose. Must be the last car in the consists or will decouple.
