Hello,

I have just converted my old Märklin V-100 from the set 55721 with a new ESU LokSound 5XL.

Regarding the CV for the motor control I have this:

Control Influence : 255
Control Reference : 140
Control K : 50
Control I : 100

This I read in the "motor" tab on the CS 3+

Does anyone have the V 100 from Märklin with Mfx decoder ? Maybe the 55046 or 55728 ?
If so could you please read out the CV's for me so I can try it to see if it is any different from what I have.
Thank you

The Marklin mfx decoder will likely require values that bear no relevance to an ESU decoder. The decoder in the 55046 may have an old ESU mfx decoder that was made for Marklin, but the 55728 is recent enough to have Marklins msd/3 series decoder.

I don't think so as the 55046 was produced 2018-2019 and 55728 was produced 2012-2014

I've got 55728, not sure when I can pull it out, unbox it and test. I may get a chance if it is wet over the weekend like it's forecasted to be.

Yep, but this is Windy Wellington.....

We have had some really sunny days since New Year's Day. I know there are concerns about water shortages, but a lot of that is to do with half of Wellington's water being lost through leaks.

Photo of CV Settings as read by my CS2.

Unfortunately I didn't see the request to photograph the inside of the loco until now, and I've gone and packed it way.
