Hi

I have passed my BR 86 to another Marklinista. Unfortunately I deleted the loco from my database so I can’t see what the code should have been. Has any one got the instruction manual and can tell me what the factory code should be?

Kind regards
Adrian

Thanks Dave,

I’ll suggest that, unfortunately the new owner only has a 6021 control unit so he could be faced with a long session of pushing buttons to discover the code!

If it is mfx, then the address is what the manual says factory decoder address is.

The address range is 1 through 255, but only 1 through 80 can be tested with the 6021.
It only takes a few key strokes to set a new address on the loco.

Addresses to try first are 78, 08, and 70.

Regards
Tom

Thank you everybody. We’ve sorted the issue. I had included the instruction manual, and once the new owner had a look, there was the code.
