I’ve been searching for up-to-date info on which standards for H0 modules that are most in use in Europe
some of the info online seem to be rather old and not updated
basically I want to make module(s) that could be used in connection with others - if I wanted to
mainly I just want to make my own modules over time - but it makes sense to make them versatile
I mainly look for modules in northern europe
any pointers will be greatly appreciated

In Sweden, I have the impression that the ”MMM” standard has the highest number of active practitioners, both for 3 rail and 2 rail modules. MMM is an abbrevition of ”Mälar Modul Möte” which more or less can be translated to ”Module Meeting by Mälaren”. Mälaren is the larger lake adjacent to Stockholm, and many practioners comes from cities in the Mälaren valley. Their webpage is found here: https://www.malarmodulmote.se/Here are some pictures from MMM shows: https://www.malarmodulmote.se/bilder/I’m not a module guy myself, but I’m impressed by their work. Since September, they have had a ”permanent” show at the largest MR shop in the Nordic countries, which i hope I will manage to visit on Saturday! |

I thought the Fremo standard was more or less de-rigeur in Europe, or certainly the German speaking regions. Certainly searching the web there seems to be a significant number of outfits manufacturing Fremo module frames.
