Hi, just a quick report about these diesel locos, had them for a few years now and never had any problems with them, 8 rubber tyres make it easy for them to pull any load or amount of carriages, the weight has slightly changed over the years the earlier ones having more weight than the more rescent ones. 6 axles powered.

Roco product database says for AC models: 4 axles powered, 2 axles with traction tyres. |

But I do recall that John at times has a penchant for changing the Roco loco wheelsets to all the wheels with traction tyres by using extra parts from Roco. He is able to do this since his loco current is sourced from the oberleitung. Regards, PJ

In the reviews section I expect reports about locos as they were delivered by the manufacturer. It should be noted if we talk about DC locos that were converted with AC wheel-sets and have more powered axles than usual. |

I am on a ship at sea with snailmail posing as email. Your usual lightning fast reply was too quick for me ! In posting my reply I realised that John was talking about a diseasel, not an electric. However, he would still be able to achieve additional traction axles whilst preserving those for current pickup. Regards PJ

Tom, the fact I've added axles with rubber tyres doesen't change the lasting performance of the loco John |
