Joined: 26/03/2019(UTC) Posts: 609 Location: Florida Classic but Successful Swampland City		So, I have tried a bit of digging in re this Bell Sounds tape and speaker, which I do have... In looking at old Kibri catalogs on Conrad Anituario, I do not find any mention of the Bell Tape and Speaker. What I have found is that at one time it was 7156: but in the 1971 Kibri catalog "7156" became the number for "Windmühle" in N-scale, so they renumbered it 9762 to match the range for HO churches in the catalog (although one could, with a bit of finagling, use it for N-scale also...). So, my question is this: Was this Bell Sounds a "Dealer Promotion" only, to be suggested (oh, those "add-ons!") for those purchasing any of the churches on market? That is what it seems to be to me, and that is not a bad thing, but it is a puzzle. Any ideas? Just wondering Also wondering years of production, if even available... Thanks!

It had Dolby noise reduction, and left/right channel level and bias control. The transport door and eject mechanism was oil damped. It even had a dust cover. I loaned it out once, and they ruined the heads. Cars no longer have casette nor CD players.

Joined: 04/02/2011(UTC) Posts: 3,123 Location: Paris, France		Hi On a much less nostalgic and poetic note, when you have a CS3, you may store sounds (I use a 32 GB SD memory card) You may edit sounds using free software like Audacity (editing and exporting in .vaw ,.MP3,...) With the CS3 you may use the internal loudspeaker or an external one. The CS3 may release sounds like any other command using events. Needless to say that the source of sounds on Internet is limitless. Sorry for this intrusion in today's possibilities. Cheers Jean

It makes some sense number-wise, but why link it to only one church kit?...the puzzle puzzles more... Joined: 26/03/2019(UTC) Posts: 609 Location: Florida Classic but Successful Swampland City		I consider that I may not looking in the right place... happens a lot... but I have found a couple old Kibri price lists out there (1 on conrad antiquario) and neither the 9760 church nor 9762 bell tape are even listed. I can imagine that not all models might make it into a catalogue, possibly (space; editing; etc.), so might these have been on the "Impulse Buy" shelf or at least in the beginning as a "Limited Time Offer"? Or kind of like Märklin's "Twin-Pack" cars offered by the dealers as an ex-catalog offering? The more I search, the more confused I get (granted, I started out fairly high on the confusion factor ) Thanks!
