When in Edit mode for layout board there are 3 items in the pull-down menu of "Track Diagram/Area" that are shaded and cannot be activated/used: Create area from selction (this is what I was trying to do after having highlighted a part of the layout) Move Selection.... Copy Selection....
The only submenu items that can used are Create TDCB.... Create Control...
I assume I have some setting or something is causing the shading out of the other submenu items mentioned above but I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.
Can anyone help me?
Many many thanks in advance.

Hi Drongo and plg I think, they are shaded because you need to select an area / zone first before doing an operation on it. When editing a layout board, on the left top selection allows 3 things - Top : normal selection (black hand pointing something) - Middle: editing of a symbol to rotate, move etc (black hand inside a circle) - Bottom: selecting a zone (black hand pointing to a rectangle). So , when you have selected the zone selection mode (bottom - hand pointing to a square)), then you may select a zone on your layout. You select the upper left corner of the zone you want and you drag your finger to the lower right of the zone When removing your finger, you have selected a zone and it shows like this (in the pink frame) Now you can access all the fonctions that were previously shaded (in pink frame) I hope this helps Jean |
