Good day everyone. I am new Marklin user and while I started with digital layout I have decided to convert to Analogue. I purchased used M-track which seems to be in OK condition(a bit of surface rust). I have also purchased old-style left switches (5038) and have connected the yellow wire to the yellow on transformer and have the two blue wires to the 7072 control unit and have the brown wire from the transformer brown to the 7032. The switching works and I also see the light lights up however there is a fundamental issue which is when the train go over the switcher, it stops. This is because there is no power on the middle rail. I have used a transformer and I can see the tracks connecting the switcher on either side have good voltage reading except the switcher itself. Please see the attached images. I am not sure what I am missing. I could not find any manual when I searched for 5038 manual. Any help is greatly appreciated.
